Exhibition Text
Place is a significant sculpture exhibition, featuring wall-mounted, table display and free-standing works from seven prominent New Zealand sculptors.
Using a diverse range of materials and techniques, Place reveals as it examines and occupies. Be it space, time, the role of symbol, cultural vernacular, shadow, shape or presence itself, sculpture’s visual language is unique to the discipline itself. Added into this is a diversity of materials which opens further conversations and possibilities.
