About This Gallery



Milford Galleries Queenstown exhibits painting, sculpture, glass and ceramics drawn from the studios of some of New Zealand’s most significant artists. In addition the gallery offers a variety of outstanding works from the secondary market. The gallery offers a full world-wide crate and freight service.

LOCATION
Milford Galleries Queenstown is located in central Queenstown one block towards the botanical gardens from Eichardt’s Private Hotel and close to the lakeside.

GALLERY SPACE
The gallery space allows for the hanging and installation of a large number of works while maintaining a gallery experience. The intimate interior feeling of the gallery is balanced by superb exterior views of Lake Wakatipu, Cecil & Walter Peaks and the ranges towards Glenorchy.

RANGE
The gallery’s store room contains a large number of works and catalogues of the full stock range are available for visitors to browse.

EXHIBITION PROGRAMME
The Gallery combines a programme of new work by its exhibiting artists with curated exhibitions of selected works from the secondary market. You are welcome to attend the exhibition previews which are held the Friday evening prior to the exhibition opening (for notification of these preview events please join our mailng list on the contact us page.

ASSOCIATED SERVICES
Gallery staff can advise on all matters relating to the collection of art (private and corporate) and are happy to make site visits. We regularly work with architects and designers (nationwide) and can provide a full range of associated services including illustrated submissions, commissioning, investment advice, valuations, crating and installation.

GALLERY HOURS
Monday - Sunday 10.00am – 6pm (please check with the gallery for seasonal variations) or by arrangement.
